Dollars for Hollers

Our Dollars For Hollers program awards $250 - $5,000 grants to nonprofits serving the folks, creatures and environment in central Appalachia. 

The name 'Dollars For Hollers' is pretty simple - 25 percent of the purchase price from every item sold at Hazy Holler Goods (retail and wholesale) is donated to a nonprofit in Central Appalachia - where we have a lot of hollers! 

We have already started giving out grants, including multiple to The Appalachian Legacy Initiative, an organization taking care of feral horses in Kentucky and West Virginia. For the rest of 2024, we plan on concentrating on the emergency needs of those in Western North Carolina and other areas with flash flood devesation. Grants will be given out quarterly or with emergency need as we move forward in 2025. Soon we will have a nomination form available on our website. To nominate your nonprofit for a grant, please make sure your 501(c)(3) status is up-to-date!
